The Jakarta-born designer graduated with honors from the Fashion Institute of Singapore, LaSalle College, Singapore. In her last year of college, she was chosen as one of the nine designers to be part of the Studio Prive project, which gave her the opportunity to showcase her collection. The project was overseen by Jonathan Seow, a Singaporean designer and supported by the Singapore Design Council. Following that, she participated in another fashion show called +9, organized by Front Row and sponsored by Bridgestone and Adidas.
