Lulu Chen Fashion Course was established in 2015 by Lulu Chen and Gunawan Wijaya. Lulu Chen has deep passion in fashion and keen to share her knowledge which has been acquired through her journey in fashion industry. She has worked in the practical aspect of fashion, which is garment production where she worked as chief pattern maker and production manager. Her responsibilities include choosing the suitable fabric and accessories, checking the pattern pieces, overseeing the sewing and finishing process. She also has many years of experience in teaching, before she decides to realize her dream of starting a fashion course.
Lulu Chen Fashion Course believes each student is a unique individual who has different taste in fashion. Hence we offer students flexible approaches to education, coordinating our program to students’ personal preferences and needs, current skill level and learning pace.
Our mission is to empower students to acquire knowledge and practice skills that will support them as fashion designer. We encourage our students to be curious, to explore and to experiment to unleash their creativity. We also give direction to students in the execution process of the design, so they will be able to realize their designs.
