Colorful Matahari Brightened Runway

Through “Liberation”, Matahari Department Store (MDS) introduced their collection in three sessions for the first time on Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) 2013, 5 November 2012.

Accessorized with yellowish neon application, “YFX” opened the show impressively. This collection appeared in bold colors; lime green, golden yellow and shocking pink. Crochet ornament and lace juxtaposed with chiffon and silk material adorably pulled off together.

The second session was dominated by cobalt in cocktail dress, peplum dress, tweed jacket, palazzo pants, drapery tops, and high-low dress which delivered high-voltage sexy and glamour image for women. This collection sartorially made from shimmering tweed, chiffon silk, duchess satin, metallic spandex, and leather material.

At last, “Shocking Public” completed the show with various bright denims as energetic as the models who proudly strode on the runway.  Suffice to say, Matahari Department Store successfully won the loudest burst of audience applause on JFW 2013.
