Paula Meliana’s Princess

The fashion show of Paula Meliana for Eva Bun adorned the runway on Sunday November 4th. Her distinctive collection with the jolt of glamour themed ‘Ethereal’ captivated the countless guests in Plaza Atrium Senayan Jakarta.

Swathed in the nightgowns and wedding gowns as if in the fairytales, the models came down from the stairways and dazzled all the eyes of the guests.  A graduated designer of Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Los Angeles revealed that the inspiration was from the enchantments of dreamlands.

The evocative imagination was portrayed in extraordinary chromatic colors of gemstones. The radiant sparkles of amethyst, plum, fuschia, and lavender combined with silk chiffon, lace, brocade, duchesse satin and tafetta took the centre stage. The first sequence was concluded with the red gowns with scales motives in fluorescent gemstones.

In the second sequence, 13 plush wedding gowns in numerous silhouettes appeared.  It was started with a luxurious Victorian-inspired ball gown fused together in fitted bodice and drapery.  One-shoulder with ruffles and ribbons and a Kebaya-inspired with fitted-sheer tops in beads and crystals embroidery were presented exquisitely. Paula concluded her romantic show with a glorious gown which has dramatic dangling crystal from shoulders.
