The Dream and Resplendence of APPMI

In the second parade of APPMI Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) 2013 on November 10th, five designers of APPMI presented their newly exclusive collection.
Fomalhut Zamel presented his collection in a theme Queen of The Damned.   The mysterious and elegant apparel were portrayed by the inspiration of the aristocrat in 18th century, vampires and dark ages. Black, maroon, cobalt blue, reddish brown and gold accent fused with suji embroidery, brocade, stones, beads, Swarovski, and dacron depicted the luxuriousness of the collection. 
Elok Rege Napio came up with ”There Are 3 Reason” in a theme of Love.  Her three disparate collections in theme of Conditional Love, Love Based upon the Other Current Status and Unconditional Love were presented respectively.  ‘Conditional Love’ appeared in red, gold and black. ‘Love based upon the Other Current Status’ offered romantic colors in pink and pastel mixed together with tie dye. Lastly, ‘Unconditional Love’ displayed the elegance in white and pastel. 
The Black Dahlia by Dennis Sarotta exposed the glamorous blackish night gowns. Intricate details as origami and distinctive cutting with beads, gemstones, Swarovski fused together in imposing batik, lace, tulle and chiffon. Anwar Dani with a collection named Exotic Japan dazzled the crowd by offering modern Kimono in Kanzashi and Sakura flowery motifs paired with quirky obi leather. 
Rudy Liem in Romance Trap magnetized the stylish attendees with the domination of ribbon winding and twisting fused with exquisite pearl braiding. Lastly, Marga Alam appeared with Vertical Limit themed. Fearlessly, he used various materials to design his collection. Asymmetric skirts, bustier, one shoulder dress with embroidery and fur were presented lavishly.
