Three Eclectic Young Designers by Mazda

With a show entitled “Young & Vibrant Designers”, Mazda Motor Indonesia brightened Jakarta Fashion Week 2013 by presented 3 talented young designers at Fashion Loft, Plaza Senayan (8/11). In this show, Mazda introduced Cynthia Tan, Friederich Herman, and Toton Januar. Each designer exhibited their new collection respectively with the same theme Mazda had given, Kodo (soul of motion).

The second winner of Lomba Perancang Mode 2011, Friederich Herman, began the first session by envincing a masculine and dynamic look as it’s seen in blazer, mini skirt, and low-key dress he designed. The digital printing technique and classic silhouette sprinkled throughout the collection over a chosen humble color like white, black, or grey.

A designer from Makassar, Toton Januar, mesmerized the guests by presenting a collection that was inspired by natural beauty. He selected tropical pitcher plant with a dynamic streamline accessorized with a bud-like hairpiece over electric blue, tangerine, and shocking pink. The additional Tasikmalaya embroidery also prettified several collections in this runway.

The last session was adorned by Cynthia Tan with a collection entitled, “Lavish Baroque”. She portrayed exuberant women these days in 15 designs which extraordinarily swathed in leather and velvet over beige, black, and red color. The futuristic touch and slim silhouette was brought by Mazda characteristic. The collection was also beautified with sequins and gemstones.
