A New Step in Ready to Wear Labels

Inspired by the human need of tranquility, Milcah, the winning brand of CLEO Fashion Award for The Most Innovative Local Brand in 2011, presented a collection of “Enlightenment”. The eye-pleasing pieces had pastel and earth-tone colors combined with a gorgeous and heart-warming gradation. Sand pattern on silk satin fabric with peach, green and brown color selections were specifically designed to obtain a therapeutically fresh and natural look.
N.F.R.T launched the 2014 Spring/Summer collection of “Iridescent Verve”. The inspiration came from Rorschach pattern – the abstractly scattered ink on blank page. What made it different was the rainbow of colors inspired by the corals and wildflowers of Indonesia, like fuchsia, lemonade green and purple, despite of black and white. Made from soft materials like cotton, shirt, chiffon, and designed to look classy and pretentious, those who wear these clothes can move freely and still look elegant while having activities.
This show proves that Indonesian ready to wear labels are one step forward and ready to compete with international brands. Keep on going Indonesian fashion industry!
