The New Style of Uniform

Bellini is a textile brand established by PT. Trisula Textile Industries in 1968 and is located in Cimahi, Bandung. It is known as the brand for textile polyester and specializes in fabrics or office wear. The fabrics are used by many companies as well as civil and private institutions.
This year, Bellini collaborated with the 2014 Jakarta Fashion Week in organizing the Uniform Design Competition themed “Style@Work” where six young designers joined. They were Friederich Herman, Jonatan, Erika Ardianto, Albert Yanuar, Astika Aquilla and Febrina Michaela. “Through this competition, we want to introduce Bellini to the young generation, especially the energetic and creative young designers. We hope that Bellini can participate in promoting the fashion industry in Indonesia, specifically the uniform business,” said Lukas Ginting, the Marketing Manager of PT. Trisula Textile Industries.
With PT. Mido Indonesia and Musa Widiatmodjo, Bellini presented the works of these six designers at the Fashion Atrium last Thursday, October 24. The uniforms were made with firm cutting, ruffles, batik motif, and the unique color mixing. The peplum style was also apparent. From these six designers, three winners will be chosen to receive a total of 60 million Rupiahs prize. (Anggi Hapsari/Femina)
