Anne Avantie: Seduced by Bali
Bali Island always has a magical force to make one helplessly fall in love, Anne Avantie was no exception. Her latest collection, Jangi Janger, which unfolded at the end of the fifth day of Jakarta Fashion Week (25/10) could not detached from the beauty of the Island.
Unlatched by a Balinese dance, Avantie unveiled her collection in different sequences. She retained the analogous silhouette: the clinging dress with intricate bead application on breast, stomach, and arms. Avantie’s kebaya cling naturally on the models, as an effect of the skin color tulle.
Avantie used gold Prada fabrics, a synchronization of her interpretation of Bali: the illumination land. However, if it was not Avantie if she denied playing with audience feeling. She represented Bali warmness through songket and bright colors, such as red, green, and mostly blue in Prada fabrics.
She did not merely disclose Balinese Kebaya in her design, that night the audience could also see the her latest skinny jeans and skirt with thigh high split; so daring and bold.
