Epson: When Technology Met Fashion
As one of Jakarta Fashion Week 2017’s sponsor, EPSON had collaborated with Indonesia Sky.Inc and a Thai famous designer, Thanit Tiansivarat in a fashion show on the night of Thursday, 27 October.
The label that directed by Andrea Risjad and Amot Syamsuri Muda, Sky.Inc, unveiled a collection with a title, BI.ON.INC. Its collection was inspired by technology, science fiction and extraterrestrial life and revealed in 48 designs. The monochromatic colors were combined with red, green, purple, and gold and presented in form of bell sleeves, cut out, one shoulder with patent leather as detail. The motives were various, from machine tier to computer chip.
The next show was from Thanit Tiansivarat, the designer of Oh! Lala and Dee Project. At her first show at Jakarta Fashion Week, Thanit presented ELEMENTS collection, which contained 12 designs performed by 12 kids. Inspired by earth, water, wind, fire, and other earth elements, all collection blended in blue, orange, bronze with floating chiffon as main fabric.
The unprecedented fact was that all motives on shown collection were printed by printer digital textile from EPSON. PrecissioncCore Technology in the printer is able to objectify solid colors to enhance color gradation into perfection.
