At first sequence, Mr Yunasz unfolded “The Dark Side”, a collection of Muslim clothing dominated in black with modern and edgy demeanor in kaftan and short gamis. Albeit in dark color, unique details such as pleats, embroidery, drapery, and bell sleeves injected contemporary touch and vitality. Yunasz succeeded in blending present-day in the ever-modest Muslim clothing and made them elegant.
As opposed to the first sequence, Musa Widyatmodjo and his collection, “My Romance”, revealed lace and gem beads as his main details and created romantic and feminine breath. The models were flaunting smoothly with dresses and surprisingly, wearing very cushy slippers. There were 24 collections with short dress with batik motive, decorated by patch details and dresses with advance intricacy. Everyone held his or her breathes every time a new collection appeared.
At the same moment, JFW Fashion Entrepreneur Award announced the winner of LPM and it was Byo, established by Tommy Ambiyo Tedji. The victorious of Ambiyo Tedji brought him to get a chance to do a fashion business short course in Istituto Marangoni, Milan. “The good concept and business plan from Byo is the main reason why we give this chance to him,” said Ai Syarif, Director of Creative of Jakarta Fashion.
