The Menswear from Korean Interpretation

The limitation of menswear was not a hurdle for Korea Creative Content (KOCCA) to collaborate with two designers and showed their remarkable talent at Jakarta Fashion Week 2017 (25/10) in Fashion Atrium, Senayan City Mall.

KOCCA divulged footwear brand, REDMETEOR, which was inspired from car. Small wonder since the designer, Seok Sangho, was a former renowned car designer.

Seok applied latex pads on boat, oxford shoes, or wingtip shoes to make them comfortable. Warm colors such as brown, olive green, and maroon were chosen as color variations.

BY. D’BY from Song Bu Young explored monochromatic colors in sporty cut loose clothing. Cotton hoodies, shirt in penguin style, and shorts were prevailing on the runway.

It was fair to say that the collection did not emerge with something extremely original, nonetheless it must be said that his creativity in executing the menswear by adding intriguing details such as the intentionally torn tip pants or plastic buckle and layering tops, was very profound.
