When BLIBLI.COM Collaborated With 4 Labels

Blibli.com, first and the biggest online mall in Indonesia did not want to be left out from Jakarta Fashion Week 2017. Blibli.com collaborated with four national labels, Ria Miranda, alex[a]lexa, Shopavelvet, and Purana in “Adrenalized The Simplicity, For Big Fans of Fashion” (26/10).

Muslim clothing from Ria Miranda opened the show with her collection, “Foresta”, was which inspired by the beauty of forest, especially Japanese forest. Presented in pastel colors, such as light grey, peach, brown, and red, cream, and khaki, Miss Miranda descended with one-piece, two-pieces, and three-pieces with very feminine style. The use of soft and light fabrics thickened the femininity. Have a look at the loose trousers with waisted-length top combined with kimono and long wavy robe. The hijab simply tied at the front neck, as hijab a la Muslim women in East and Central Europe.

Similarly interesting was Resort 2017 Collection from dari alex[a]lexa, “Darjeeling Limited”. It took inspiration from a movie with the same title from Wes Anderson that tell a story about the adventure of three siblings to India and Hilamaya to seek identity and happiness. According to the designer, Monique Natalia Soeriaatmadja, this Spring/Summer collection displayed cut loose dresses that perfect for holiday and travelling to tropical country.. She also used saree for exotic demeanor. Loose pants, pleat skirt with light material and soft colors (light blue, off white, navy blue, and pink) gave sweet and soft touches.

Clothing for independent, confident, and know-what-she-wants-women were presented by Shopatvelvet with its collection, “Solivagant”. This self-assurance and independency courageously showed in bold colors, such as black, brown, dark brown, light purple and soft thin velvet. Long skirt with loose jacket, kaftan and loose trousers embedded femininity.

The show was concluded by a collection from Purana, “Technicolor”. Nonita Respati, the designer, fused three techniques at once: woven, batik and jumputan in one piece of fabric or a dress. The casualty was emphasized through ¾ pants, knee-length pants, simple dress, convoluted fabric, and shaved trousers. This collection felt fresh with a brave combination colors, such as orange, turquoise green, green and purple or red and purple. Added with pandan hat and sandals or casual shoes, this Spring/ Summer collection was perfect for holiday to the beach and tropical exotic places.
