Bright and Bold Tones For Lulu Chen Course Graduates

Lulu Chen Fashion Course is one of prominent fashion schools in Jakarta, founded by Lulu Chen and Gunawan Wijaya in 2005. The school joins in Jakarta Fashion Week 2018.
 
Held at Fashion Atrium, Sunday, October 22, 2018, Lulu Chen Fashion Course presented three collections of designers’ who are its graduates. They are Wan Idrus, Qamariah, and Hastavara label. Their labels, by the way, are about to be popular in local market.

The show started with Wan Idrus’ collection that succesfully amazed the audiences with its bright colors of gold and orange. The whole elegant dresses are suitable for formal event.  Actor Stuart Collin who supported the show came up to stage and presented a flower bouquet to the proud designer as a token of appreciation.

Still using bright colors, dominantly red, Qamariah Yunus gives “The Arising Goddess” to her debut fashion show. Using such theme, she wants to convey the message that a woman needs to be confident and strong. As provocative as the theme, the design structures and the way the models strutted on the runway obviously supported the spirit. The glowing effect caused by the model’s moves makes the dress like a flower about to bloom.

Lastly, Hastavara was also brave to use bright and bold tones to its collection that gives strong impression of androginy. The classic cut dresses look more elegant and bold all at once, sending the message that the collection requires courage to wear. With the model wearing Mohawk hairstyle, the message is even louder, shouting, "A woman has to hold her head high and always walk confidently even in the most difficult situation."
