Fashionlink Showroom and Market Bring Label Closer

Affriming its position as a driving progress platform of national fashion industry, Jakarta Fashion Week relentlessly digs innovation to bring public closer to their own local designers. Fashionlink Market and Showroomare are created to answer designer’s needs to directly interact with visitors and fashion enthuasiats who fall in love with their works, strutted on runway.

The event was open (Monday, October 23, 2017) at The Hall area, 8th Floor, Senayan City. “Through Fashionlink, designers and brands, especially of Indonesia Fashion Forward, keep flourishing their business, nationally and internationally," says Lenni Tedja, the Director of Jakarta Fashion Week.

Each year, dozens even hundreds of retail, curative institution, and individual party list their name on buyers through Jakarta Fashion Week website. Especially on the first and second day, Fashionlink Showroom, filled with exclusive curative products, opens to buyers only, while visitors can enjoy Fashionlink Market. The event lasts to October 27, 2017, the last day of Jakarta Fashion Week.

"Every year, The Hall is utilized for Fashionlink to help local brands enter retail industry. Senayan City opens it door, as big as we can, to domestic fashion industry. Besides The Hall, we save a place on 1st Floor as our collaboration with Jakarta Fashion Week, called FASHIONLINKxBLCKVNUE," reveals Halina, the Marketing Director of Senayan City.

Jeffry Tan, Albert Yanuar, Paulina Katarina, Peggy Hartanto, LEKAT, Bateeq, Sean & Sheila, Yosafat Dwi Kurniawan, Batik Chic are the leading brands in premium category this year. In modestwear category inhibit Restu Anggraini, Rani Hatta, I.K.Y.K, Jenahara, Norma Hauri, Dian Pelangi, Kami, and Ria Miranda. Meanwhile, SOE Jakarta, YELLY, Danjyo Hyoji, At The Studio, Mazuki, Reves Studio, Etterette, and ByVelvet are available for quirky style enthusiats. There are still many domestic brands take part in this event, from accessories to food and beverage. Other than that, various special talkshows with Jakarta Fashion Week’s partners are held at this area.
