The Story of Avenue A, Yogiswari Pradjanti, and Gee Batik on Jakarta Fashion Week 2018 Runway
Avenue A was set to storm the stage, Sunday, October 22, 2017. The designer, Luthfi Madjid, presented a ready-to-wear collection with gender bender dan modern urban styles. The models strutted 25 pieces under “Ode to the Earth” theme, taking place at Fashion Tent. The comfortness, the major impression we got from each piece, is truly a main factor for the urbans with their busy lifestyle. Forget not the playful approach. Yet, the unusual button placement on a shirt and 7/8-length galembong pants are still wearable for everyone.

In her newest collection, designer Yogiswari Pradjanti presented Indonesian signature clothing that feels light and looks elegant. Using illustrated polyester and cotton fabrics, she puts an identity “a young Indonesian mother who loves to travel” into the collection. The models were wearing ear studs from Paramita by Sofia and sunglasses from Kabau Art Shades, complementing the collection to set as a fashion trendsetter in 2018. At the end of the show, Yogiswari showed up on the stage welcomed with a big round of applause from the audiences.
