In Naturally Inspiring Wool Workshop [31/8] Julie Davies, Global Trade Manager of The Woolmark Company introduced luxury garment products made of Cool Wool variants. "[Merino] wool is a material that is very dynamic. You can create it using weaving, knitting… And the fiber can even be combined with other materials," said Julie, while showing the design of Rahul Mishra, winner of the International Woolmark Prize which combined various techniques of wool-making.

Innovation presented by Woolmark wool materials creates a diverse and unique works, such can be seen in Rosie Assoulin’s design –long sheer tops combined with a red, light coat that can be worn in warm weather, perfect for fashionistas who want to look stylish and still comfortable. On the same occasion, Julie introduced Wool Lab Technology that aims to help designers and other fashion practitioners to better understand aspects of wool production and application of materials in their design. Wool Lab also provides training and education programs aimed at facilitating those who want to learn more about the use of wool.
