Revolution of Creativity in Fashion

LaSalle College Jakarta is back for the sixth time participating in Jakarta Fashion Week. This year, in a show titled "Revelation", LaSalle College featuring seven talented designers with the remarkable creativity.

The first designer is Kelly Valerie with the theme 'Apocalypse'. Her collection is inspired from the destruction of the world, she combined the fabrics with different textures, unusual cuts and shapes, using embroidery and sequins materials.

Kezia Davita featuring the energetic designs that packaged in monochrome colors. The simple white knit tops and fall pleated skirt makes her collection look elegant. While fur accents on vest and cape is suitable to be use in every situations.

Modestwear collection from Aulia Fitri is typically looks feminine and elegant. The collection with ethereal ethnic concept is titled "Nighttide alteration". It was inspired by the beauty of nature and Aceh bamboo buds patterns. Elegant and luxurious image appears in sequins and gold embroidery details on songket materials, applied to the tops, skirts, and abaya. The bright colors such as red, navy blue, and green in her collection symbolizes the strong and independent modern woman.

Clemence by Clarissa Chrestella and Chrestella Hartawan featuring ready to wear collection that emphasizes the classical and minimalist silhouettes. Sleeveless blouse matched with culottes or high-waist skirt, also simple cut dress with a blazer accent stole our hearts. Clemence comes with warm colors such as brown, gray, and black.

Another brand is Sphere Society by Chrisnawati Novia featuring the theme "Futurisphere". Her collection has showing modern and futuristic designs in a simple way. Ready to wear collection of this brand is using monochrome colors on crop-top and high-waist skirt. Simple and not much details.

Inspired by Sasak tribe, Vatthu which fronted by three young designers; Amelia Dianty, Astari Maya, and Anindita Sosrodimulyo aims to bring Indonesian beauty through fashion. Embroidery and digital printing techniques became a focus in their designs. Brown, orange, and turquoise colors has dominating their collection.

There is also 1004 DN-PRIS by Nicole Priscilla who takes inspiration from Hawaii temple, represents the harmonization of the two cultures and two eras. The combination of modern western and traditional Asian culture is presented in 1004 DN-PRIS collection. For this collection, Nicole combines the bold black and red colors.
