Rising Evolution of Modest Fashion

After holding a show on the second day of Jakarta Fashion Week 2016, Amber Feroz and Tahir Sultan, designer members of Islamic Fashion and Design Council (IFDC), presents their fashion collection to buyers attending JFW 2016 with a Trunk Show held in Fashionlink, which is located at The Hall Senayan City on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. They introduced a new twist in the Modest wear fashion, without leaving the Islamic roots.

Amber, who is a graduate of Italian design school Instituto Moda Burgo Milan exhibits a variety of traditional moslem clothing abaya, transformed into ready to wear clothes. Ornate details, layered styling and boxy pieces in both light and dark shades shows the evolution of modest wear, that definitely can attract non-Muslim fashion lovers.

Tahir Sultan is no different – After launching his own line in 2008, now he presents his modest wear collection directly to Indonesian market. His signature is a clash of diverse cultures, which he deliberately boxed in the concept of a simple yet edgy modest collection.

All the collection of Tahir and Amber can be seen and purchased at the IFDC booth in the Fashionlink area during Jakarta Fashion Week 2016.
