Simplicity Style of Three Designers

Indonesia Fashion Forward as a collaboration program of Jakarta Fashion Week, Creative Economy Agency of Republic of Indonesia, the British Council, Center of Fashion Enterprise and Dekrasnada Jakarta, presented a fashion show on the fourth day of Jakarta Fashion Week. Held in Fashionlink, the show has connecting designers with fashion seekers, both domestic and abroad.
 
This time, the three national designers who incorporated in Indonesia Fashion Forward presents their ready to wear latest collection, named Todjo, Byvelvet and Lekat.
 
The show was opened with Todjo’s collection, it came from the second line of Sapto Djojokartiko’ fashion house. Todjo defined as a more contemporary and modern line. This time, Todjo’s collection is dominated with a long dress or loose silhouette trousers. Its Santa fresh orange color is suitable for dynamic urban woman.
 

The second brand is Byvelvet, which is a premium line of Shop at Velvet. The core design of Shop at Velvet still seemed in this collection, titled "Solitude". “Although there are not many differences in terms of its design from Shop at Velvet. This time, Byvelvet is using higher quality materials, pay more attention in details also producing limited products”, said Randy W. Sastra, Owner and Designer of the brand. White and earthy colors like brown, dominating the collection. Although the collection seems simple, we can feel the idealism of the designer through the application of layers and sheer materials on the clothing
 
Lekat by Amanda Lestari, Indonesia Fashion Forward fourth generation, is a promising brand in Indonesian fashion industry. Her collection that using Baduy weaving is very typical and out of the box. The implementation of tie dye techniques, stitching, patches, geometric, tassel and traditional patterns, combined with soft colors, resulting in simple yet unique collection.
