Sixty Hairdressers for More Than Two Thousand Hairdos
Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) 2016 has officially started on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Fashion Tent, Senayan City, Jakarta. The annual fashion week in Indonesia will be held until October 30, 2015, featuring more than 70 shows during the week. Entering its fourth year, L'Oréal Professionnel again; has become the official partner to team wise with hairstylist for the entire event. This fully-commitment hairdressing brand has partaken more than 100 years to the fashion industry.
The hairdressing industry in Indonesia has contributed admirably to the economy of the nation. In 2014, it was recorded that the hairdressing industry was worth Rp1.2 trillion, involving more than 115 thousand salons throughout Indonesia. As one of the biggest brands in the world, L'Oréal Professionnel has helped contribute to this development; the brand has launched innovative and inspirational to the world of since more than 25 years ago. A brand that believes in the power of education as a foundation for business is to invest in JFW in its fourth year with the goal to create better parameters skill. "JFW is an event with national and international publications. 60 of our hairdresser every year aims to inspire all industry to achieve better hairdressing skills,” said Yola Sutjiutomo, Manager of L'Oréal Professionnel.

Since last September, L'Oréal Professionnel actively conjugates in various activities related to its field for JFW 2016. Starting with the “Road to Jakarta Fashion Week 2016” by conducting a presentation from the hairdresser ambassadorboth locally and globally, the audition sorts hundreds of hairdresser through various hairdo training. Together with Qiqi Franky, consultant and hair and make-up director of JFW 2016, L'Oréal Professionnel conduct various training to elect hairdresser, ranging from basic, high-fashion, until the JFW training. "The series of these activities is a clear evidence of our commitment to JFW 2016. All the training aims to improve the skills of the hairdresser in order to correspond the JFW quality standards," Yola Sutjiutomo added.
L'Oréal Professionnel will also fill on the JFW 2016, with the trend of IT Looks 2015/2016 at the Fashion Tent, Senayan City, on Thursday, October 29th, 2015. The showcase will feature the best backstage hairdresser of JFW as the warm up act; local and global hairdresser ambassador to take charge of the IT Look 2015/2016, as well as the works of Indonesia’s best designers.
