The Dynamic Thailand Fashion

Thailand’s dynamic fashion can be seen in Jakarta Fashion Week 2016 on the fourth day, the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, supported by two famous shopping malls in Bangkok, Siam Paragon and Central; featuring creation from famous designers.

One of them is Paul Direk. He first launched his collection in 2006; this well-known Thailand designer brings out the concept of high street fashion, which is intended for men and women. He assumes that men and women needs proper clothing that is well designed and thought about. On the stage of Jakarta Fashion Week 2016, Paul Direk showcases the same concept. It’s focused on high street fashion, but still emphasizes the uniqueness and novelty.

Differ from Paul, Thara, through the label THEA by Thara; represents Central shopping mall, displays a strong fashion element from the city of New York which are very chic, but still merging with the Asian culture. The style of design concentrated with a simple silhouette, yet very meticulous in detail. Thara features collections that accentuate femininity den humble sensuality, as well as confidence. Although it looks simple; detail shows more complicated techniques than what the eye can see.

Meanwhile, Siam Paragon brings out a number of talented designers, among them are Saksit Pisalasupongs and Phisit Jongnarangsin with the brand “Tube Gallery”, Vatanika Patamasingha Na Ayudhaya Chanachai Jareeyathana with “Friday 27 Nov”, Chai Jiamkittikul featuring “Chai Gold Laberl”, Nakorn Sambandaraksa with “Nagara”, Chamnan Pakdeesuk with the brand “Flynow”, Jiratt Boonta with “Jaritt”, as well as Najton Atidcharungchai; “the eponymous”. All of this designer will present their work at the Bangkok International Fashion Week 2015 in November.
