Futuristic and Traditional Touch of 8 Designers APPMI

The sixth day of Jakarta Fashion Week 2016 was more merriers. The Association of Entrepreneur Designers of Indonesia (APPMI) involving the eight members designers of APPMI from various regions; Anastasia Hoeng, De 'Irma, Fomalhaut Zamel, Anggia Mawardi, Erin Ugaru, Verena Mia, Veronica / Vidyanita, and Yurita Puji to presenting their collection.
 
Show was opened with a collection from Anastasia Hoeng featuring semi-formal dresses with monochrome colors like black, white, and gray. She also brings pastel colors such as beige and broken white in her collection. Anastasia plays with a transparent material and simple cut-loose designs which allows us to make a move, but still look elegant and beautiful.
 
The other designer was Yurita Puji in Levico brand featuring the theme Dynamic Edgy which using Nusantara fabrics. Her collection are using Gedog woven from Tuban combined with brocade and satin materials with a variety of bright colors such as blue, red, and pink. Magnificent look appears in her collection by the adding of sequins in each design. Meanwhile, Errin Ugaru featuring the epic yet mysterious modestwear wrapped with a futuristic piece. Dominant black color in this collection, combined with the solid materials, consists of brown, silver, and gold colors.
 

Inspired by the Middle East traveler, De 'Irma featuring the unusual modestwear. Play with four dominant colors such as blue, dark green, purple, and chocolate. De 'Irma presenting layers cut design with soft chiffon materials for womenswear. Sometimes it could be combined with outer in Middle East typical details. While for menswear, this collection is offering turban with more casual pieces and jodphur pants.
 
In the next sequence Anggia Mawardi in Anggia Hand Made brand featuring a more simple collection. Fitted-dress and jumpsuit added with a bit weave accents are sewed with shiny threads on the collar, chest, waist and cuffs. It resulting in more luxurious designs. In contrast with Veronica / Vidyanita, these duo designers is featuring their collection themed Oryza. A series of gowns are displayed with shiny materials, giving the look of gowns are wrapped with sparkling crystal. There is also a pair of crop top with adorable skirt.
 
Last but not least, designer Verenia Mia featuring a classic silhouette with a pastel color that studded with crystal and small flowers details on sabrina collar, makes the collection seems pretty. The show closed with a collection of Fomalhaut Zamel bring the theme Ethnotechno. The harmonious futuristic and traditional culture depicted in formal designs. She plays with sharp cuttings in the typical woven materials from West Sumatra such as woven Silungkang and woven Kubang combined with Paris cotton materials, such as corduroy, Japan cotton, and lycra decorated with metal pieces and spikes details.
