La Amour Tribute Show ala Benten

Benten by Cecilia Yuda and Lisa Daryono reappeared on Jakarta Fashion Week 2013 with a show entitled “Billet Doux”, implicitly meant love letter, presenting their irresistible night gown collection.

Handwriting and outpouring feeling in the artistry of love letter brought off romantic and feminine encouragement for this dynamite duo’s designs. The overall collection of “Billet Doux” applied several extraordinary fabrics like organdy, lace, and tulle. Furthermore, an additional essence of gemstones, sequins, and pearls became romantically feminine’s booster touch in this collection.

A number of 48-plus-piece collections adorned in two sequences. First sequence was dominated by pastel shades: soft pink, light yellow, medium purple, and sky blue, and also a unique juxtaposition of pink, peach, and coral. And what made it more romantically elegant was a combination of lacey detail, tulle skirt prettified with petals, and soft palettes platform heels. The second sequence of the show exhibited dark color block gowns which was bold and high-voltage sexy booster! That translated as fitted gown, backless, tube dress, long train cut dress, and mini skirt.

Flower headpiece, jumbo necklace, and gloves replenished the glam touch of Benten’s as well as other disparate designs like balloon skirt, peplum detail, fuzzy fur accent, sequins, and gemstones application. It was as if Benten had put a spell on every eye who gazed into amazement by parading their extravagant fairy tale-like show.
