The Body Shop hosted a talk show and launched their new makeup series “Colour Crush Collections” full of bright and bold colors at the 2014 Jakarta Fashion Week on October 22. The collection aims to bring out the beauty of every Indonesian woman and give a different look every day.

Colour Crush The Body Shop is available in 30 selections in pearly and matte so the customers can choose whichever suitable for them. The Colour Crush Lip Colour is available in 24 shades giving a fresh look to the face. Made with Community Fair Trade marula oil and cherry seed, as well as crushed pigment¸ the lipsticks would give a healthy and maximum lip colour effect.

Usually bright and bold colours in eye shadows or lipsticks are only used for special occasions instead of daily makeup because many people think they are a bit too much. But, if properly applied, the bright colors can boost the daily look without being over-the-top.

Besides showing a makeup demo, The Body Shop makeup artist also gave tips to create a perfect look; how to pick the skin-matching lipstick and how to apply eye shadow for those who wear glasses so the eyes can look bigger.
