The Enchantment of Dutch Batik

In the first sequence of the show, Iwan Amir with “Afternoon’l” displayed the splendor of Dutch lady in Batik. The nuance of khaki, peach, blue, green and orange dominated the 12-pieces of flora motifs apparel. The casual simply designs ardently depicted the down-to-earth of modern lady.
Sischaet Detta flourished the runway with her virile works, coalescing batik with leather in gold. The 12-pieces collection inspired by colonial era delineated modern, glam and futuristic style in soldierlike apparel.
The first show in JFW day five concluded with Lulu Lutfi Labibi and her brilliant designs. The usual vivid colors of Dutch batik were fused with the pitch dark color. In combination of Yogyakarta lurik and Ikat-weaving the 24 pieces elegant apparel wowed the attendees of Jakarta Fashion week 2013.
