Urban Inspiration from “The Urbanist”

Zalora had collaborated with three young designer in Fashion Tent of Jakarta Fashion Week 2017 (27/10). One of which was Danjyo Hiyoji, unfolded collection, which was inspired by young spirit. This time Dajyo Hiyoji showed that zeal could boost self-confidence. Dana Maulana and Liza Masitha as Danjyo Hiyoji’s designers were focus on ready-to-wear-collection for men and women in many palette colors and beautiful asymmetric cut.

I.K.Y.K collection, by Anandia Putri was on runway to present the combination of the modern cut from Indonesia, Japan, and Korea. This ready-to-wear collection was opted for more earthy colors with eco-friendly material; inevitably comfortable for urban people. Through this collection, Miss Putri would like to inspire women to have great ambition to conquer the world.

A similarly attractive collection was revealed by Sejauh Mata Memandang by Chitra Subijakto. Combined simplicity and the love towards design and pattern, Subijakto’s creation undoubtedly stole the show. Collaborated with artists from Sumba, Bali and Java, Sejauh Mata Memandang made all her textiles material with traditional techniques. Subijakto used leaves pattern fabrics, turned them into loose silhouette dress and eclectic scarves.

All three designers represented Zalora collection, “The Urbanist”: wearable, easy to mix and match, and certainly transformable (suitable for day and night attire).
