Entrepreneur and Young Designers Got the Awards
On the fifth day of Jakarta Fashion Week, Cleo Fashion Awards came back again. This event is intended to confer some awards for two categories: Most Innovative Local Brand and Most Promising Accessories Brand.
For the Most Innovative Local Brand’s category, Argyle and Oxford came up as the winner because their unique and playful creation that applies the bright color and unique drawing on their design entitled “The Art of Doing Nothing”. This Clothing Line, Argyle and Oxford revealed their colorful earrings that attract attention, made from fur thus the whole collection looked characteristically unique.
Meanwhile Tiny Island out as the winner of Most Promising Accessories Brand’s category with their collection entitled “Obscura” which used the crystal as their material. These series of high-quality craftsmanship’s jewelry looked luxurious when paired with white minimalist clothing.
But, CLEO Magazine didn’t only give the awards to those two categories, in collaboration with the Australia Indonesia Center; they chose two Indonesian Young Talented Designers. Both will hold their first fashion show in international event of Melbourne Fashion Festival in March 2015. And the winner was Peggy Hartanto and Patrick Owen. Both of them were considered as the innovator and inspiration for the young Indonesian generation in fashion world.
