Fall/Winter Collection by Debenhams

Debenhams, a distinguished department store in Indonesia, once again participated in Jakarta Fashion Week 2015. On the fourth day of the most awaited fashion week in Indonesia, Debenhams presented a series of Fall/Winter 2014 collections from several British designers—John Rocha, Henry Holland, Jasper Conran, and Julien Macdonald. Unlike the common dark-shaded Fall/Winter collections, Debenhams combined bright, pastel, to natural color palettes in glamorous attractive designs.

 

There were four major themes which in the show: Pink & Berries from Jasper Conran collection, Pastel Palette by Henry Holland, Modern Military by Julien Macdonald, and Autumn Luxe by John Rocha. All four of them have been adapted to Indonesian climate, making them easy to be mixed and matched in various occasions. The collections are available in all Debenhams stores.

Accompanied by Teza Sumendra’s wonderful voice, the first session featured Pink & Berries, a collection which made use of warm colors and simple designs, but with a quite apparent classic character. The next in line was Holland’s Pastel Palette, offering boyish styles combined with various fashion items in sweet pastel shades.

 

The third session, Modern Military, delivered a choice of powerful fashion designs to create a fashion statement. Lastly, Autumn Luxe ended the show by displaying a glamorous collection for fashionistas. The collection had a luxurious texture with faux fur to beautify the designs.
