Fashion Fusion Sophie Paris

Sophie Paris, Indonesia’s largest fashion and beauty direct selling company, has had a strong presence in the country for almost twenty years. To celebrate this memorable moment, the company stepped on the gas by organizing various events, collaborations, and promotions. In 1995, Sophie Paris debuted as a small scale bag manufacturer. At that time, they chose Becky Tumewu as the brand ambassador for Sophie Martin, one of their brands. Tumewu, an Indonesian public figure, was deemed suitable to represent active, energetic, intelligent, cheerful, and passionate Sophie Martin women.
Sophie Paris’s cosmetics division, specifically perfumes, recently launched Sachiko Eau de Parfum, the latest series of BLINK—a line which was inspired by a popular Indonesian teenage girl band. However, their most spectacular product was Ariel Impulse Eau de Parfum, a masterpiece in collaboration with Ariel ‘Noah’. The perfume’s scent, name, and packaging were chosen by Ariel himself to reflect his typical characteristics. Reportedly, about 500 bottles of Ariel Impulse are sold all over Indonesia every day since its launching, and the number is still expected to increase.
In terms of promotion, Sophie Paris also made a breakthrough by participating in the grandest fashion week in Indonesia, Jakarta Fashion Week 2015, on 2 November 2014. Located at Fashion Atrium Senayan City, they exhibited various collections from their October 2014 catalogue, “Forever Sophie”. The collections included an assortment of clothes, shoes, bags, and accessories. In addition, Sophie Paris also held a talk show, which was attended by Becky Tumewu, Ingga Gloriana (Vice President of Cosmetics Division), and Meidiana Gunawan (Vice President of Product Strategy Division).
