Romantic Batik in Bold Colors

Jakarta, 3 November 2014. For Permata Bank Priority, the philosophic meanings and values of batik have a high significance. As a corporate which positions themselves among families, Permata Bank Priority would like to reflect the philosophy of batik—a hereditary work which is applicable in various circles. Therefore, today the bank collaborated with Alleira Batik to present a fashion show in Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) 2015.
The aforementioned philosophy inspired Alleira Batik to create special collections aimed especially for female fashion enthusiasts. The label presented MonochRomantic, a theme which combined the two sides of women: warm and feminine but also cool and dynamic. Beautiful batik motifs made the collections look even more sophisticated.
The four-sequenced show started with The Mono-Chro-Me, a ready-to-wear collection dominated by colors such as black, white, and blue. The choice of colors gave a clean impression which still looked casual and fresh. Made of handloom fabrics, silk, and taffeta, this collection strongly radiated exclusivity.

The next one was The Dancing Chromatic, a graceful yet powerful collection which featured white, black, blue, and silver cocktail dresses. The concept was further reinforced through the use of velvet, lace, batik on jacquard, and upholstered material.
The third collection still consisted of various cocktail dresses. However, The Colorevival presented warmer colors such as fuchsia, pink, lime, orange, and navy blue. Alleira Batik created a feminine character for this collection using silk, taffeta, and organza fabrics.

Finally, a series of evening dress in The Romanticlosure exhibited black, red, fuchsia, pink, lime, orange, and navy blue colors. Masculine and feminine silhouettes were artfully combined to bring out romantic as well as dynamic sides, infusing this last collection with a luxurious yet warm character.
