Danny Satriadi’s fashion journey is a powerful story of passion and cultural devotion nurtured since childhood. As the Creative Director of his eponymous label, Danny combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, creating pieces that capture both elegance and unique identity. His formative training at Esmod Jakarta and early work at Prajudi and Bella Donna shaped his refined aesthetic. In 2003, Danny won Majalah Femina’s Lomba Perancang Mode (LPM), where he took first place and the favorite award, and received a scholarship to study at FIDM in Los Angeles, USA.
Since launching his own label in 2007, Danny has dressed prominent Indonesian celebrities, including Syahrini’s stunning gown at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. His signature style features masterful techniques such as intricate beading, origami folds, and embroidery, elevating traditional garment-making into contemporary art. Beyond fashion, he has expanded into a second line, Arkamaya, and his fragrance brand DSTree.
Danny also is an active member of the Indonesian Fashion Designer Council (IFDC), reflecting his status among the country’s leading creatives. His deep respect for Indonesia’s textile heritage shines in his frequent use of traditional batik and tenun fabrics, reimagined into modern, high-value designs.
