Dery Rizkianto is the Creative Director at The Rizkianto.
Dery began his design education in Indonesia, before attending the London College of Fashion (LCF) in 2019. He moved to Milan in 2020 to continue his studies at the Istituto Marangoni, and then at the Instituto di Moda Burgo (2021-2023). It was at Burgo that his creativity flourished, and he refined his skills in tailoring, pattern-making, and couture techniques, notably draping and embroidery. In 2022, he made his fashion show debut with six looks at Fashion Graduate Italia – Milan. Entitled Demeanour, Dery’s first collection, was inspired by the glamour of Hollywood’s golden age and it established his vision of delivering contemporary, yet timeless, designs that enhance the natural beauty of today’s woman.
After graduating from Burgo Cum Laude, Dery established The Rizkianto and its debut collection was at Emerging Talents Milan in September 2023, and, in October of the same year, Dery was the winner of Vogue Force for Fashion Italia with Achille Lauro. While a new brand, under Dery’s leadership, The Rizkianto already enjoys international recognition with its designs having received coverage in numerous publications, including Vogue Italia, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar. The Rizkianto has partnered with renowned international brands, such as TAG Heuer, Pandora and Swarovski, and its designs have also already graced numerous red carpets, including the Latin Grammy Music Awards (2023), The Critics Choice Awards (2024), and The Venice International Film Festival (2023 – 2024). The Rizkianto is a growing brand, but, “If you can dream it, you can do it.” It’s a motto that guides Dery in life, and it is reflected in his leadership, creativity, and unbounded approach toward design.
