Shafira’s Nautical Nuance

At the age of 25 years, Shafira Corporation launched a new fashion label called Shafira Encyclo. This Muslim clothing line comes up with modern designs which look trendy and up-to-date even with hijab.

On the last day of Jakarta Fashion Week 2015, 7 November 2014, “Nautical Blitz” theme was presented in 48 designs. Various apparels—from blazers, maxi dresses, to cropped jackets with gold-colored buttons—were thick with nautical nuances in red, blue, and yellow colors.  Some of the designs were adorned with anchor motifs in the form of print or embroidery. The use of chiffon, cotton, and lace fabrics made sure that the wearers would stay comfortable through a bunch of daily activities. For hijab, Shafira featured scarves made of striped and plaid satin.

A unique design was apparent in a vibrant slouchy blazer with contrasting-colored polka dot pattern. Elbow patches added more stylish point to this blazer, making hijab looks appear more fashionable. With a simple and modern style, every design in this collection is also suitable for those who do not wear hijab.
