The Interpretation of Three Feminine Looks

One of the most anticipated fashion shows in the Jakarta Fashion Week was APPMI’s. There were three designers of this association revealing their collections on October 22nd, 2013.
Hartono Gan opened the show with dramatic black and white atmospheres. He deliberately named the collection “I am…” to encourage women to freely interpret their mood, passion and soul. Through the cocktail dress and ballgown, Hartono offered liberty for his customers to apply their own styles to the clothes. The materials used for the collection included duchess satin, cody silk, velvet and lace.
Agnes Budishurya picked the theme “Peony” which one of the Chinese flowers resembling romanticism and wealth. Agnes appointed the batik technique and paintings on satin silk. Sixteen pieces that were shown illustrated the Japanese style with red, white and gold kimonos.
Gregorius Vici was inspired by spring time while creating the collection “Spirit of Spring”. He presented the collection dominated by pastel and white colors ornamented with flowers and leaves. (Shinta Kusuma/Pesona)
