Kreskros is an ethical design studio with a focus on producing conscious products utilizing plastic waste.
From our inception in 2016, we have been exploring innovative ways of transforming plastic waste into viable materials.
Kreskros is collaborating with local women of Ambarawa, or Ibu-Ibu as we call them, to process plastic waste and creating products with economic value.
We are hoping to empower these women by building their skills and providing an alternative way to support their families.
We focus especially on working with the women within our community, to build on their skill sets and help them be able to support themselves and their families.
We believe in fair trade. We trade with concern for the economic, social, environmental, and cultural well-being of the small producers.
We source our plastic material from factories in Ambarawa, Central Java. We salvage this waste product and run these plastics through our specially developed processes.
