Cita Cinta Change-lebration, The Ultimate Makeover
A makeover is not just about the touch of make up, but it has a meaning as a 'total change' that exudes the self confidence of every woman, especially when they step out on stage. That was what we saw in the fashion show presented by Cita Cinta magazine, Cita Cinta Change-lebration.
The unique thing about Cita Cinta Change-lebration was, those who were performed on stage are not professional catwalk models. Cita Cinta gave an opportunity for 10 lucky womens to get the ‘ultimate makeover’. The process of selecting the 10 finalists has been conducted since September 2015 through CitaCinta’s website www.citacinta.co.id. They did the makeover for two consecutive days and on October 24th, 2015, the finalists came up with a new appearance at the Fashion Atrium stage in Senayan City. They walked on the runway wearing the latest collection from Cynthia Tan and Noki. There was also a fashion show by Vone by Ivonne Magdalena and closed with the performance of Rinni Wulandari, the fourth winner of Indonesian Idol 2007.
"I created a theme called Eden, inspired by my experience when I was studying in England. I was so impressed with the natural beauty of the countryside I found. Hence, the colors of my design this time is pastel colors," said Cynthia Tan, an alumni of Lomba Perancang Mode (LPM) Femina, presenting her gentle yet luxurious nightgown.
After wearing two designer collections, from casual looks designed by Noki and dresses from Cynthia, judges has selected three winners of Cita Cinta Change-lebration and they are Cindy Valery (1st winner), Keyla Tyal (2nd winners), and Uly Novita (3rd winners). "The winners were assessed based on the results of their make over. It was contemplated by how far the changes are after the makeover," said Zornia Harisantoso, Editor in Chief of Cita Cinta magazine, also one of the judges. Cynthia Tan and Noki also judges at Cita Cinta Change-lebration.
